The position available is for a Sector Specific Trainee / Learnership in the People Management department at the TPT POD Corporate H/O in Durban. The Trainee will report to the Operations Manager and will be at the SSTFT grade level. The reference number for this position is 203561.

The purpose of this Training Programme is to create a pathway for important roles within Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) by providing a structured 12-month training program. The program aims to place learners in specific areas of TPT based on their educational background, career goals, and the needs of the business.

TRANSNET OPERATIONS LEARNERSHIP, The responsibilities of this position include following a structured training program, undergoing performance reviews and assessments, and fulfilling all duties outlined in the development program, as well as any additional duties assigned by Transnet Port Terminals.

To be eligible for this position, applicants should have a Grade 12 or Matric qualification, or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification. Having completed a certificate program in logistics, operations management, or a related field will be advantageous.

TRANSNET OPERATIONS LEARNERSHIP, Candidates with strong management and problem-solving abilities, effective written communication skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, a positive attitude, integrity, the ability to work well under pressure, computer proficiency, and knowledge of Microsoft Packages are encouraged to apply.
