TRAINING OPPORTUNITY x30 PARTICIPANTS: HOME BASE CARE TRAINING 2024

HOME BASE CARE TRAINING 2024 : LEVEL 1

Applications are hereby invited from interested individuals with enthusiasm for the above youth development opportunity.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: This initiative is presented by the Municipal Youth Desk & Social Development section in collaboration requires interested individuals between the ages of 18 – 45 years old who will be selected to take part in this training.

The Home Base Care Training, Level 1 is an accredited course which will include theoretical and practical training.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: The municipal youth and social department will cover the training cost for 30 qualifying participants which will also provide an intern programme for the participant to complete their 380 hours practical assessment. However, no employment commitment is guaranteed.

The criteria for the training opportunity are as follows:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

 Grade 9

 Clear criminal record

 Aged between 18-45

 Local to the greater Knysna area

 ID book/card

 Read, write and be able to speak English.

 First Aid Certificate will be an advantage.

 Shortlisted candidates will undergo a diagnostic test conducted by the Municipality and if successful, will qualify for the training programme.
