๐ Key Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
- A National Diploma or Degree in Risk Management, Internal Audit, or other relevant qualification.
- 3โ5 years relevant experience in risk, fraud, investigations, and ethics management.
- Supervisory experience will be an advantage.
- Valid driverโs license and computer literacy required.
- Experience in setting up/managing fraud hotlines will be an advantage.
- Additional certifications (e.g., CIA or CRMA) will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Risk Management principles, practices, and procedures.
- National Treasury Risk Management Framework (Public Sector).
- Fraud, Ethics, and Integrity Management.
- Skills in report writing, analytics, project management, planning, problem-solving and risk mitigation.
๐ Duties & Responsibilities
As a Senior Risk and Fraud Prevention Officer, you will:
- Oversee and supervise risk management services.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks at strategic, operational, and process levels.
- Compile and maintain the risk register.
- Prepare and present risk management reports to management and the Audit & Risk Committee.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of anti-corruption systems.
- Conduct fraud/corruption risk assessments and investigations.
- Promote and enforce policies on code of conduct, conflict of interest, financial disclosures, and gift register.
- Conduct training, workshops, and awareness campaigns on risk, fraud, ethics, and integrity management.
