About the Operations Assistant Role
The Operations Assistant position is a permanent role based in the mining industry. Successful candidates will play an essential part in daily operational activities, ensuring smooth processes and compliance with safety standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As an Operations Assistant at AECI, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the MMU Controller with inspections of fixed plants and MMUs according to SABS and World Class standards.
- Assisting in blasting-related activities such as measuring holes, stemming charged holes, guarding, and cleaning sites.
- Ensuring proper housekeeping across sites, truck parks, and wash bays.
- Loading and unloading products into and out of trucks.
