- N3 in Engineering Studies (Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Diesel/Motor Trade Theory/Mechanotechnology).
- N4 in Engineering Studies (Mathematics, Engineering Science, Mechanical Draughting, Mechanotechnics).
- N6 in Mechanical Engineering with passes in at least four subjects such as Mathematics, Power Machines, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Drawing, Strength of Materials, Physics, or Supervisory Management.
- National Senior Certificate (Matric) + NCV Level 4 Qualification
- NCV Level 4 in Engineering Process, Professional Engineering Practice, Applied Engineering Technology, Automotive Repair & Maintenance, Mathematics, English First Language, Life Skills, and Computer Literacy.
- NCV Level 4 Qualification (TVET Colleges)
- Same subject requirements as above.
Work Competencies
- Ability to repair, service, and maintain mechanical or electrical products.
- Knowledge of mechanical principles to diagnose and repair engines safely.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools, software, and equipment to troubleshoot issues.
- Strong documentation and reporting abilities for completed work.
- Valid driver’s license.
