The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for the Public Housing Stock Management Internship Programme 2025. This opportunity is open until 30 September 2025.
Internship Overview
- Internship Title: Public Housing Stock Management Internship
- Stipend: R10 109.86 per month (Basic salary, no additional benefits)
- Location: 222 Smit Street, Braamfontein
- Contract Type: 12-month internship
- Closing Date: 30 September 2025
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet the following:
- Matric/Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
- Completed qualification (minimum 360 credits) in one of the following fields:
- Town Planning
- Civil Engineering
- Project Management
- Construction Management
- Any Built Environment qualification at NQF Level 6
- Must be unemployed and have not participated in an internship programme before.
- Must be a resident of the City of Joburg.
Primary Function
The successful candidate will:
- Provide project and administrative support.
- Act as programme coordinator for Public Housing Stock Management projects within the Department of Human Settlements.
Key Performance Areas
- Coordinate and monitor programmes and projects of the Public Housing Stock Management Directorate.
- Assist with procurement strategies, building contracts, and tender documents to ensure compliance.
- Provide administrative support, ensuring the safe handling and timely delivery of confidential documentation.
