Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC), in partnership with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), is giving students in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering an opportunity to apply for placement in 2025. This initiative is aimed at preparing students for industry-related training and real workplace exposure.
Target Intake: 47 students
Closing Date: 7 October 2025 at 12:00 pm (midday)
Location: Kwa-Thema, Daveyton, and Springs campuses (hand-delivered applications only)
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 or NC(V) Level 4 certificate with 50% or higher in English and Mathematics
- A TVET N3–N6 Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Valid driver’s license
- Be between the ages of 18 – 35 years
- Willingness to undergo:
- Assessments
- Interviews
- Medical check-up
- Reference check
- Criminal record verification

- A detailed CV with updated contact details
- Certified copy of Identity Document
- Certified copy of Driver’s License
- Grade 12 / NC(V) Level 4 certificate
