Tau Pele Construction (Pty) Ltd is offering training and development opportunities for 2025 to candidates from the Great Kei Municipality. This initiative forms part of the Community Development Project Contract SANRAL C.003-103-2024/1, which focuses on upgrading access roads to Mzwini Secondary School, repairing surfaced roads within the Mzwini community, and formalising a graveyard parking area.

These training placements are designed to give unemployed youth, graduates, and students the chance to gain valuable technical exposure and hands-on workplace experience in the civil engineering and construction sector.

Available Opportunities

1. Placement for TVET College Students (8 Posts)

  • Who can apply: N6 TVET students needing experiential training, preferably in Civil or Building Engineering.
  • Benefit: Gain technical project experience and complete requirements for a National Diploma.
  • Application requirements:
    • One-page CV
    • N6 Certificate or stamped statement of results
    • Logbook/letter from your TVET

2. Internships for National Diploma Students (4 Posts)

  • Who can apply: P1 and P2 University of Technology students currently completing a Civil Engineering qualification.
  • Benefit: Obtain National Diploma requirements and gain on-site exposure.
  • Application requirements:
    • One-page CV
    • Full academic record
    • Experiential letter from your university

3. Graduate Candidates (6 Posts)

  • Who can apply: University graduates with a completed Civil Engineering qualification.
  • Benefit: Mentorship from experienced construction managers while working toward professional registration.
  • Application requirements:
    • Two-page CV
    • Minimum qualification: National Diploma
