Corrections Policy

SENDCV.co.za is committed to correcting significant factual errors when they are identified.

Accuracy is particularly important because our articles may contain information about employment, education, bursaries, funding and training opportunities.

What We Correct

We may correct significant errors involving:

  • Names
  • Dates
  • Closing dates
  • Eligibility requirements
  • Qualifications
  • Salaries
  • Stipends
  • Programme details
  • Locations
  • Application methods
  • Contact information
  • Reference numbers
  • Statistics
  • Other significant factual claims

How We Handle Corrections

When an error is confirmed, we will update the affected article with the correct information.

The nature of the correction may determine how prominently it is identified.

A significant factual correction may require an editorial note or other indication that the information has been corrected.

Minor Changes

Minor spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting or wording changes that do not change the meaning of an article may be made without a formal correction notice.

Updated Information

Sometimes information changes after publication without the original article having been factually incorrect.

For example:

  • An employer may extend a deadline.
  • A programme provider may change its requirements.
  • A bursary may close early.
  • An application link may change.

In such cases, we may update the article to reflect the new information.

Where appropriate, the article may display an updated date or editorial note.

Opportunity Information

Readers should understand that job vacancies, bursaries, internships and learnerships can change quickly.

A programme closing after an article was published does not necessarily mean the original article was incorrect.

We aim to update important opportunity information when reliable new information becomes available.

Reporting an Error

If you believe an article contains a factual error, contact us and provide:

Article: The title or URL of the article.

Error: Explain what information is incorrect.

Correction: Provide the information you believe is correct.

Evidence: Include a reliable source where possible.

Editorial Review

Correction requests are reviewed by our editorial team.

We may investigate the original source, consult official information or compare the claim with other credible sources before making a correction.

Our Commitment

We believe correcting mistakes is part of responsible publishing.

Our goal is not to claim that errors never occur, but to respond responsibly when credible errors are identified and to keep important information as accurate as possible.
