Apprenticeship Opportunities Available

The company is recruiting apprentices in four recognised artisan trades:

  • Millwright (2 Positions)
  • Fitter (2 Positions)
  • Turner Machinist (2 Positions)
  • Tool, Jig and Die Maker (2 Positions)

Successful applicants will join Epiroc’s Rebuild Department, where they will participate in daily engineering operations while receiving structured technical development.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements.

Academic Requirements

  • Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate).
  • English.
  • Mathematics (Pure or Technical).
  • Physical Science.
  • At least two additional school subjects.

Engineering Graphics and Design or Engineering Drawing will be advantageous.

An Engineering Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering may strengthen an application but is not compulsory.

Technical Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • N2 qualification.
  • Fitting Theory.
  • Electrical Theory.

Knowledge of electronics will be considered an added advantage.
